Dungeon Aggro System
In this system, dungeon monsters will select a target by the amount of Aggro points a player has. Thus giving him the possibility of changing target as the battle advances. The monsters will always attack the player with the most points.
Ways to accumulate Aggro Points are:
Walking in range of a hostile monster.
Being the first to attack a monster.
Damaging a monster.
Healing the current target of a monster.
Buffing the current target of a monster.
Debuffing the Monster.
Method's of reducing Aggro Points are:
Leaving the instance dungeon
Run a certain distance away from the monster
The monster leaves its roaming area and resets itself
Loging off
Death
Monster Target Switch Chance Overview
Monsters dynamically evaluate threats during combat and may change targets based on certain actions performed by players. Below is an overview of the conditions and their associated chances for triggering a target switch:
Buff Skill (non-heal)
5%
Cast on the monster’s current target by someone else.
Heal Skill
10%
Same condition as above.
Normal Damage Skill
25%
If the target is moving and the skill does not force aggro.
Debuff Skill (e.g. DoT)
30%
If the caster targets the monster’s current enemy.
Forced Aggro Skill ("Charge")
100%
Instantly redirects aggro to the caster (Knight only).
Dead or Invalid Target
100%
Monster will look for a new valid target.
Target in Safe Zone
100%
Monster drops aggro and returns to spawn.
