Weapon Leveling System Explanation for Players

The Weapon Leveling System is a feature that allows your weapons and shields to gain experience and level up as you use them in combat.

Here's how it works:

Gaining Experience:

  1. Attacking Enemies:

    • When you attack monsters, your equipped weapon earns experience points (EXP) based on the damage you deal.

    • Dual-wielding weapons? Both weapons can earn EXP, but the primary weapon gets priority.

  2. Blocking with Shields:

    • If you're attacked by a monster and block the damage using a shield, your shield earns EXP.

    • Shields gain slightly more EXP per damage blocked to account for their defensive nature.

  3. EXP Rate Adjustments:

    • EXP gain is influenced by a base rate and is adjusted depending on the weapon's level requirements. Higher-level weapons gain slightly less EXP to maintain balance.

    • Minimum EXP: Even small hits guarantee some experience, ensuring steady progress.

Leveling Up:

  • Each weapon or shield has a specific amount of EXP needed to level up. When this threshold is reached:

    • The item's level increases.

    • Excess EXP carries over to the next level.

    • The higher the level, the more EXP is required for the next.

Buffs and Bonuses:

  • Certain items or buffs can increase the EXP you gain, helping you level up your equipment faster.

  • Example: Special scrolls or consumables might double or triple the EXP gain temporarily.

Notifications:

  • When your weapon or shield levels up, you'll receive a message on your screen notifying you of the upgrade, including the item's new level.

Limitations:

  • Items have a maximum level they can reach. Once at max level, no further EXP can be gained.

Weapon Leveling Stats Per Level
